Display teachers' photographs in a common area in school

Display of Photographs of Teachers in all schools of Govt., Local body, URS, KGBV, TSMS and TREIS managements-Instructions issued 

1) Samagra Shiksha-Minutes of the meeting of the Project Approval Board (PAB) for the year 2024-2025 held on 16-02-2024 in respect of State of Telangana. Section 1(sl.no.9) & Section II (sl.no.6). 2) PM SHRI-Minutes of the meeting of the Project Approval Board (PAB) for the year 2024-2025 held on 16-02-2024 in respect of State of Telangana. Section 1(sl.no.2.7).

A copy of the references read above are communicated to all the District Educational Officers& Ex-Officio District Project Officers in the State and they are informed that, in order to address the issue of proxy teachers and teachers' absenteeism, it is instructed that photograph of teachers should be displayed in a common area in school premises. Most of the schools have completed this exercise but this is a continuous process. For this purpose, there shall be a provision in schools where the display of teachers' photographs is updated in case of transfer or retirement of a teacher. Display of photographs of teachers is one of the priority areas of the 3rd Chief Secretaries Conference.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio District Project Officers in the State are requested to instruct all the Headmasters/Special Officers/Principals respectively of Govt., Local body, URS, KGBV, TSMS and TREIS managements to display teachers' photographs in a common area in school premises preferably in Teacher Civil List.

The DEOS & EO DPOs are also requested to instruct the District Coordinators, MEOs, MNOS, Complex HMs etc. to monitor the activity in their visits and see that 100% schools display teachers' photographs in schools.
