Instructions for the disbursement of Family Pension/Invalid Pension to the family members of deceased NPS/CPS subscribers by the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts,Telangana State.

1. **Maintenance of Watch Register**: 

All DTO/DST/STs (Nodal Offices) must maintain a separate Watch Register for Family Pension/Invalid Pension, recording all relevant details.


2. **Pre-Audit of First Payment**: 

The District Treasury Officer must conduct a pre-audit of the first payment of Family Pension/Invalid Pension before disbursement to the family members of deceased NPS/CPS subscribers.


3. **Cash Book Maintenance**: 

The Nodal Officer must maintain a Cash Book for the DDO Current Account, ensuring proper debit and credit entries with attestations.


4. **Compliance Reporting**: 

All District Treasury Officers must gather information on the maintenance of the Register from all DST/STs and submit a consolidated report to the office by 10-01-2025.


5. **Strict Adherence to Instructions**: 

The Joint Director, Pension Payment Office, Hyderabad, and all DTO/DST/STs must follow the issued instructions meticulously, with any deviations being taken seriously.
